MTV’s “Making The Band 4, Season 2” premiere earned a 2.2 P12-34 rating and averaged 2.2 million viewers (P2+).
The telecast on Monday 1/28/08 was the highest rated season premiere for the Making The Band franchise since June 2003 among P12-34.
“Making The Band 4, Season 2” premiere saw a 90% increase P12-34 with substantial gains across all demos versus the previous season.
“Making The Band 4, Season 2” was the most watched program for the night (8-11p) among F12-34 across all of cable.
Fteens (3.86) and W18-24 (3.34) were the strongest demo segments and M18-24 posted over a 2 rating (2.15).
The “Making The Band 4, Season 2” premiere was the top show on MTV.com on Monday, attracting 500 percent more unique visitors and delivering 173 percent more video streams than last season’s premiere. Additionally, in less than two days, the show has generated more than a quarter-million streams on MTV.com.
