MTV’S “MAKING THE BAND 4” SEASON FINALE TO FEATURE PERFORMANCES OF HIGHLY ANTICIPATED NEW SINGLES ON SUNDAY, MARCH 23RD AT 8PM ET/PT AND OF COURSE, NO “BITCH-A$$NESS” WILL BE ALLOWED!

New York, New York –March 13, 2008 – Diddy throws the best parties and on Sunday, March 23rd from 8pm-10pm ET/PT MTV and Diddy invite viewers to celebrate the biggest event in town with the “Making The Band 4, Season 2” finale.  Fans will get VIP treatment when Danity Kane performs their hot new single “Damaged” and more songs from their sophomore album “Welcome to The Dollhouse” in stores on March 18th.  Day26 will captivate the crowd with a performance of their first single “Got Me Going” from their self titled debut album available on March 25th and solo artist Donnie will hypnotize the ladies with new material from his soon to be released album.  “The Making The Band 4” cast will perform in front of a live audience from the MTV Times Square studio in New York City. 

Fans will get the inside scoop as the cast including Danity Kane’s Dawn, D. Woods, Shannon, Aundrea, Aubrey and Day26’s Mike, Willie, Qwanell, Robert, Brian and solo artist Donnie answer some of their burning questions: Are Dawn and Qwanell more than just friends?  Can Robert and Brian ever stop fighting? Did Donnie and Aubrey ever hook-up? And did Donnie ever finish his album?  The cast will reveal this and more to the live in-studio audience, and go online to makingtheband.mtv.com to interact with fans during and following the finale. 

This season of MTV’s “Making The Band 4” has been one of the most successful and popular seasons.  Diddy hit a high note when he brought the winners from season 4, Day26, solo artist Donnie and platinum recording artists Danity Kane together to live in the same house in Miami, adding a brand new element to the show.  Viewers were able to watch Day26 evolve into a strong all male group, follow Donnie’s growth as a new solo artist and catch-up with the girls from Danity Kane as they mature into seasoned professionals.  “Making The Band 4” fans got the unique opportunity to get involved with the album making process by going into the studio with the cast each week as they worked towards Diddy’s challenge to record their albums in record time. 

MTV’s “Making The Band 4, Season 2” has ranked #1 in its time period (Mon/10-11pm) versus all of TV among F12-34 and has reached over 49 million total viewers.  The Making The Band 4, Season 2 premiere is the highest rated season premiere in the franchise history since 2003 among P12-34. Season to date Making The Band 4 is averaging a 2.4 P12-34 rating.
