New York, NY – July 25, 2008 – MTV’s award winning documentary series “True Life” continues to delve into diverse and interesting topics with the premiere of “True Life: I Don’t Trust My Partner” and “True Life: I Can’t Stay Thin” on Sunday, August 3rd at 3pmET/PT. Below are detailed descriptions of the True Life episodes that are scheduled to air from 3pm – 5pm ET/PT:
3pm –“True Life: I Don’t Trust My Partner” - What happens when you fall in love with someone you don’t trust—and every moment spent apart or every phone call that goes unanswered is cause for alarm? In this episode of True Life we feature two young couples whose mistrustful relationships have become so toxic that each day they spend together may be the last one.
4pm - “True Life: I Can’t Stay Thin” – What if every time you fought hard to shed unwanted weight you immediately gained it right back? That’s the frustrating reality for two thirds of those who go on diets each year. On this episode of True Life you’ll meet two young people with long histories of yo-yo dieting who are doing whatever they can to lose weight and keep it off for good.
